It’s 2020 and I’m cautiously optimistic about this year. In so many ways the possibilities are incredible. But just as optimistic as I am about this year, I also realize that very few of the hard political, social and even religious decisions that must be made, are not at all up to me. The only thing I can control in this discussion is my own attitude and my own activism to bring about the kind of changes that so many marginalized people need.
